Originally from Spain, I’m now based in Sydney, Australia where I’m a long-distance runner and swimmer, passionate about health, endurance and the outdoors.

I’ve completed 10 marathons around the world: New York, London, Chicago, China Great Wall Marathon, Berlin, Tokyo, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and the Great Ocean Road. My fastest marathon time was 3:33:30 and my longest swim was 10km, which I completed in 3:29:48.

I’ve also completed many triathlons across Australia, USA and Spain in distances from sprint to half Ironman 70.3. In 2015, I had the privilege of representing Spain in the ITU Duathlon World Championships in Adelaide, Australia.

Since I moved to Sydney more than 10 years ago, I’ve established my own personal training business. I coach people to become healthier and improve their running, ocean swimming and triathlon skills. An important part of this is education to help them understand how nutrition and endurance work together in sports.

My next goals are:

  • 2024 UTA50 – 50km in the Blue Mountains, Sydney
  • 2024 Bondi to Manly Ultra – 80km in Sydney
  • 2025 Boston Marathon – 42.2km (After completing this marathon, I will have completed the 6 World Marathon Majors)

Do you have any rituals before competing?

The night before every event, I have an early dinner of pizza or pasta at around 6:00pm before preparing my gear for the race. Before bed, I eat two CLIF Bars and relax. I might text my family and then meditate and visualise the race.

Hidden talent

My hobbies are photography and video editing. I always carry my GoPro when I complete endurance events so I can make YouTube videos to share my experience with others.

Interesting fact

I love traveling so often choose events in cities or countries I haven’t visited before. I get to travel and race!

I’ve been an athlete for the last 15 years and completed 10 marathons, including five of the World Marathon Majors.
