Full name? Keely Andrew
How long have you been competing in your sport for? 6 years
Where do you call home? Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia
What is your focus within your sport? Winning a World Title is a major focus in the coming few years.
Why do you like that aspect the most? I like that aspect because it’s something I’m passionate about getting and it’s something to work towards to better my surfing and myself.
What is the strangest thing that has happened to you whilst doing your sport? The strangest thing that has happened to me was probably the first time I signed an autograph. I was thinking that the person didn’t realise I’m not who they think I am but turned out they actually did want me to sign something for them.
Do you have a local claim to fame (fittest, fastest, funniest, smelliest, etc.)? Not one that I’m aware of. If I do I hope it’s a good one.
Do you promote an annual event or are you involved in charitable cause? This year I am looking to get more involved in the Breast Cancer Foundation. It’s something that has hit close to home and I’m hoping to use my voice and the international stage that I compete on daily to spread awareness.

Anything else you would like to add? As a 21-year-old on the world stage, I’m in a truly uniquely position. I hope to represent strength and be a role model and inspiration to all aspiring young women in Australia and abroad. I am proof that when you have vision and unrelenting dedication that you can do anything you put your mind to. The #ROOKIEONTOUR campaign is designed to take my fan-base inside my camp as I fight for success on the World Championship Tour of Surfing.
